Stunning Art Deco Glass Pendant With Birds Decor. Maker: Muller freres Luneville (the bowl is signed). Materials: The center bowl has a pink tone and is made out of molded glass.
It is all around adorned with prominent flying swallows. The cords of the fitting were recently renewed with matching pink cords (the cords derive from a new old stock from a factory in Lyon that closed down years ago). The canopy is made out of solid bronze cast and decorated with stylized acanthus leaves.
The pendant is equipped with three bulb sockets, so the glass bowl is evenly illuminated. Measurements: The total height of the chandelier is 27.6 (70 cm). The diameter of the glass bowl is 13.8 (35 cm). The canopy has a diameter of 3.9 (10 cm).The total weight of the chandelier is 7.0 lbs (3,2 kg). Condition: Very good with light signs of wear consistent with age.
The glass bowl is free from chips and cracks. The electric is in full working order, but as with all vintage wiring it is advisable to have it checked by a certified electrician before use.
