A Murano lamp base, blown in pink glass with gold inclusions, with three applied leaves and flowers in green and pale yellow and dating from circa the 1950s. Fully wired, ready to go but awaiting a shade, it retains the original metal and plastic fittings along with several factory stickers. That on the neck is worn but appears to include the words Archimede Seguso, that on the base is the more commonly seen Seguso sticker, the last has 934/88.
A wonderful, large and impressive piece, it will make a great display and conversation piece. Size: height 35.5cm to the top of the metal fitting (43cm to the top of the plastic), ca 16cm diam; weight 2.2Kg.
Condition: Great vintage condition, the top of the flower (to the right of the sticker) has been reattached, hard to notice on close inspection & found more by feel. Otherwise near mint, with no chips, scratches or bubbles. Please view all the photos before purchasing, they complete the description. While I do my best to reproduce the true colours of the pieces, they will vary slightly from system to system, and in actual viewing they will vary under differing lighting. All white spots are light reflections.
