He puts his finely honed skills into making undersea creatures made of glass. When you look at his creations, you may look once and smile, but when you look closer, you will see the detail that makes his work so unique.

Many collectors put the urchins, shells and other creatures in their aquariums. Eckstrand owns Glass Aquarium on Memorial Highway in Mount Vernon, has built a reputation in the glass art world, partly because of his own work making elaborate undersea-themed sculptures and aquarium installations, but also for his engineering acumen. He is both an artist and a glass studio designer, and has built furnaces and work spaces for artists all over the world. Measures 4 tall and 4 at the widest weighs 3 lbs 3 oz.
