Alfredo Barbini Pulegoso Murano Art Glass, RARE Pink Green, Spec Bubbles 50's Bowl

Turquoise green Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown frothy bubbles over turquoise green in light pink shell as middle layer with clear outside layer. Created in the "Pulegoso" technique. The piece has a decorative indent on the rim, and is very thick glass. There is a middle layer of light pink, golden-pearly spec.

Attributed to designer Alfredo Barbini. This bowl has the characteristics of an Alfredo Barbini bowl, made in the 1960s.

Examples can be seen in the 1961 Weil Ceramics & Glass Inc. Catalog of Alfredo Barbini hand blown glass.

Can be used as a display piece on any table. Use it as a catchall, or candy dish. Approx Measurements: 6 1/4" long x 4 1/2" wide x 2.5 high, scratches on the lower part due to usage.
