Antique Vintage Indian Art Deco Display Bathroom Cabinet. Pale Pink

A vintage, Indian Wooden Display Cabinet. A particularly pretty colour, with Art Deco detailing. An exquisite vintage teak cabinet sourced from the Bhavnagar District in Gujarat, Indias westernmost state. In a previous incarnation it would have been used to display medicines in an apothecary or chemist. You, however, may prefer to employ it as a bathroom cabinet, or make a great decorative statement in a bedroom, kitchen or living space.

This particularly pretty example in pale pinks. Or, to be more precise, an Art Deco look, probably dating back to Colonial India in the 1920s and the last days of the Raj.

Characteristic Art Deco detailing to top and bottom pelmet. Think Channel 4s Sunday night series. And you won't go far wrong. Complete with brackets for wall hanging to rear, and its original metal rear panel , something usually re.
