A beautiful "Alabastro" glass shell made by Archimede Seguso of Murano, Italy. In the shape of a mussel shell.

Identifying Marks / Makers Marks. Age / date of manufacture. Measures 5 3/8" (13.75 cm) long and is approximately 3 1/2" (9 cm) wide across at the widest point. It is 1 3/4 (4.5 cm) tall. In excellent undamaged condition with no chips or cracks.

Has a few very fine scuff marks on the inner edge where the glass folds over and inside the shell. Has age related wear on the base.
