Rare Art Deco Bimini Glass Mermaid Liqueur Decanter Set (7 Pieces). Up for sale is a spectacular, completely intact 7-piece Art Deco cordial/liqueur service designed by Fritz Lampl for the Bimini Werkstätte (Vienna/Lauscha), circa 1930s.
This set is crafted from feather-light, hand-blown translucent peach/pink glass. Each of the six coupe glasses features an exquisitely sculpted, milky-white frosted glass stem shaped like a nude mermaid. The bowls and the decanter body are adorned with delicate, hand-etched floral and leaf motifs. Special Collector's Feature: UV Reactive Selenium Glass When placed under an ultraviolet (UV) blacklight (highly vibrant under 365nm), the frosted mermaid figures fluoresce a stunning, vivid hot pink/coral color.
This confirms the presence of antique Selenium in the glass mix, making it a highly desirable piece for both Art Deco enthusiasts and "glow glass" collectors. Dimensions:Liqueur Glasses (6): Approx.

Stopper Note: The original matching frosted mermaid stopper features a tiny, smooth superficial crease/straw mark on the glass. This is a natural factory manufacturing flaw from the cooling/molding process in the 1930s-it is not damage and serves as proof of its authentic handmade origin.
