Art Deco Frosted Pink Fish Seaweed Fruit Bowl Walther & Sohne Barolac Jobling

Here we have a superb art deco frosted glass centrepiece fruit bowl. I have been unable to categorically identify this beautiful bowl after many hours of research.

My instinct is that this was made. By (Auguste) Walther & Sohne of Germany. There are many similar designs by Walther & Sohne, ones with fish & seaweed but none that I found that were identical. Also I haven't been able to find anything in this wonderful shape. I previously found a similar pattern with fish & seaweed by Samuel Reich of Czechoslovakia so this could possibly be by him.

Other possible makers who made similar glassware are Barolac and Jobling - any info appreciated! Either way, it's incredibly rare and an extremely decorative design. This would have been made. During the 1920's or 30's. It has a lovely pink frosted colourway and a highly detailed seaweed & fish design.

It measures approximately 8.5 inches by 2 inches. A wonderful, rare piece, perfect for the collector of Art Deco glassware or simply a beautiful display for your home.
