An Antique Wood Carving of a Saint. A fabulous 17th Century ecclesiastical wood carving of a female saint or monk from Europe, probably Italy or France, possibly of Saint Catherine of Alexandria. A stunning decorative object, with a timeless peaceful quality. Condition: The saint is missing both hands.

The wood is rustic with old splits and has an attractive patina and rich colour.
