Art Nouveau/Jugendstil Schafer & Vater Jewelled Pottery Vase, pink/brown 4

Stunning German Jugendstil / Art Nouveau Potter Vase from Schafer & Vater in Rudolstadt with a soft brown body and a Pink, flowing scrolls upper part and rim, which has been decorated with blue, green and pink Jewel like medallions. There is also some gilding which highlights the sinuous shapes of the pink scroll design. Marks to the base: see pictures. Condition: Very good for age, there is one part that looks like 3 prongs from a fork penetrated the brown glaze towards the base which leaves a darker mark. But this is definitely not a later damage, but already occurred during the manufacturing process.

Also some internal discolouration which looks like they may be cracks, but that is only part of the pink glaze, as it is folded in and crimped towards the rim. Size: Height: 10cm (4"), Width: 13cm (5") Depth: 9cm (3.5) Weight: 210 grams. Please examine the pictures as I consider this part of the description - ask questions if you think you see something I have missed. I will try to correct whatever issue you feel is wrong. I believe the customer is the most important thing & I will try to act accordingly.
