PAIR MOSER OVERLAY CANDLESTICK LUSTRES CZECH ENAMEL GILDED MILK GLASS CUT TO COBALT 8.5 C1890. This listing is for a STUNNING pair of MOSER enamelled, gilded porcelain and cut glass CANDLESTICK LUSTRES in very good condition with superb cut crystal drops that catch the light beautifully. They are a perfectly matched pair, the overlay glass is of the best quality and the cobalt bases are thick and heavy quality, these are the best of the best condition I have come across. The white overlay glass is cut with designs revealing the bright cobalt blue glass body beneath.
The pair are prettily hand painted with flowers and hand gilded throughout. These are in superb, crisp, clean condition and are a really delightful pair dating from around 1890. They would make an exceptional special gift to yourself or others. They are a lovely addition to your dining table, or mantelpiece or hall console.
Lovely as a Wedding Gift or for a wedding table. Then to keep as a lovely REMINDER of THE SPECIAL DAY!! Great to pass on to next generations.. MEASUREMENTS: Height 8.5" x 4" width approx. CONDITION: Excellent with no losses of gilding or enamel. No chips to the glass. Pretty much as they left the factory nearly 130 years or so years ago.Some tarnish to the brass loops, commensurate with age. They must have been kept safely behind glass in a cabinet by a collector methinks! If you need more photos or information please message me...
