Large, hand-crafted centerpiece in scavo and iridato Murano glass. The pink color is achieved by adding copper and manganese oxides or colloidal gold.
The main body and lower rim are embellished with a hand-applied hot bead. This beautiful centerpiece is acid-etched across the entire lower rim, from the rim to the base, while the upper rim features a particularly elegant and brilliant iridescent mirror effect, making this piece truly beautiful. The centerpiece dates to the second half of the 20th century and is unsigned, but is attributable to the Archimede Seguso glassworks, which often produced similar scavo vases in their artistic production.
