
Vintage Chribska art glass bowl, likely designed by Josef Hospodka from late 60's period. Model 367/4/22 (unable to confirm last two digits as these could be the colour code). This colour way is clear glass with a purple inner and finished with a white and pink non-opaque glass trim around the top edges.
Overall Height - 18cm Internal depth- 11cm Base width- 7cm Base to lowest point of each opening openings anticlockwise from shortest. 11cm 12cm 12.5cm 11.5cm 11.5cm Width of Top 15cm - CONDITION - There are no chips or cracks within the piece. There are some tiny scratches on the outside of the piece as shown on the first of the closer section of photos.
They are not clear to the naked eye and the photos are zoomed in to show the areas in question. The only hairline scratch marks that can be seen are on the base. There are some slight rippled areas in the glass as shown in the final images along with a curve of tiny air bubbles which are less than 0.5mm in size from the base up along one of the five curved fern frond shaped walls that create the structure of the piece. These pieces were produced in Czechoslovakia, primarily during the mid-20th century, particularly the 1960s and 1970s. Characteristics - Hospodka's designs often feature vibrant colors encased in clear glass, with organic or abstract forms, and are known for their heavy, hand-blown quality.
