Robert is a genuine Swedish Islander who has created art since childhood. He started very early with two-dimensional materials and at the age of 10 moved on to 3-dimensional ceramics and then Glass Art at the age of 20. He was immediately hooked on the magically beautiful glass and worked for 10 years at Orrefors Glasbruk and then 10 years as a teacher at Riksglas skolan. Robert's love and great passion for glass has meant that he has since the first moment designed, designed and exhibited his own glass pieces and currently he is a freelance artist with exhibitions both nationally and internationally such as Venice in Italy, Hungary, Holland and Belgium. Robert only creates unique art glass mostly in the old famous Grail technique where he illustrates in the motifs the fairy tales he once told his children, but also a large variety of other unique things such as sculptures and jewelry with a wide range of prices.In Triberga, which lies in the heart of southeastern Öland, Robert lives and works among limestone and logs on his old family farm, Ateljé Oldergården. The studio is open when the flag is out and there you can view his unique art glass pieces and also sometimes see parts of his creative process.
