Murano Art Glass Amethyst Pink & Gold Thumbprint Bowl Controlled Bubbles Italian

Offering this superb mouth-blown Murano glass bowl. Of shell form in amethyst pink with controlled bubbles; accented with gold spiral knot or rosette applied to pinched thumbprint edge. The piece has applied ribbon ring foot and scalloped rims.

Handmade in Murano, Italy in the middle part of the 20th century. Although unmarked, which is common for Murano glass, created in the manner of the Salviati and Fratelli Toso companies or another master artist from a prominent glassblowing studio. Dimensions: 6-3/8" x 6" x 3 high; weighing 1 lbs 6.8 oz before packing. Great vintage condition; one small chip to inside rim of one scallop (see last photo for multiple angles). My low opening price is not representative of item value.
