Murano Mid-Cent Fratelli Toso Pink Overshot Art Glass Leaf Bowl 19 cm (7½) MINT

Bought from an antique shop in Wells, Somerset about 30 years ago and has since been in a display cabinet or packed away in between house moves. In excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, but PLEASE NOTE there are two tiny, flecks within the glass base (see last photo) which I hadn't previously noticed, as it is not easy to spot with the naked eye.

The frit "overshot" method involves adding glass crystals to the surface, given a shimmering effect which is rough to the touch. 550 grams (1lb 4 oz) in weight.

These mid-century pieces of art glass are becoming harder to find and this is a beautifully made, tactile example of the work of revered Italian glassmakers, Fratelli Toso.
