The 3 glass balls are 6cm, 5 cm and 3.5 cm in diameter. They are separated by chromed bands of metal which have lost quite a lot of the chrome but once the lamp is in place they look fine. The gallery is a shiny silver metal of some kind and is original. The on/off press switch on the base is the original and doesn't work.
I got my electrician to put an on/off switch in the wire when he rewired it and leave the press switch in place as it looks nice. The whole stem is a bit loose and could do with the nut on the bottom being tightened. I never bothered as I was worried about breaking the glass balls and once it's on a table you can adjust them and they don't move.
It measures approximately 21 cm from the bottom of the base to the bottom of the gallery. It is white on the inside and the outside has a pink background with shades of brown squiggly lines which make it look like marble. I can't see or feel any chips or nicks round the rim. It measures 15 cm across at the widest, 15.5 cm top to bottom and is 9 cm deep. The whole lamp weighs just under 2 kg without any packing materials which will put it in Hermes 2 - 10 kg bracket. A very unusual and striking table lamp which would look great in an art deco themed room.
