Pink Kakadu or Cockatoo Flower Frog Figurine in Brockwitz Float Bowl Depression

Pink Kakadu or Cockatoo Flower Frog Figurine in. Brockwitz Float Bowl Depression Era 1920/30s. This is an art deco large pretty pink float bowl. It features a pink Cockatoo or Kakadu figurine built into the flower frog. It is a good quality figurine and the float bowl is very heavy and was made in the Depression era 1920's and 1930's.

Pink Cockatoo or Kakadu figurine was made by Brockwitz Glass Company in Germany. The figurine is 8.5 inches or 21.5cm high. The foot of the figurine is 3.5 inches or 9 cm across. The flower frog is 6 inches or 15cm in diameter.

There is one small chip near one of the flower holes in the frog area. There are two small chips on the inside of the bottom where the figurine sits in the bowl. There are no cracks in the figurine which is pretty good for glass this old. The bowl is large, it is 15 inches. Or 38cm measured across the handles and 11. In diameter and it stands 4.5 inches or 11.5cm so it is fairly deep. There is a heavy foot in the bowl. He figurine fits nicely into the bowl. There are no chips, cracks or repairs on the bowl.

Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition. Cockatoo figurine chest protrudes out and you can see berries and ferns around its feet. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly.
