Pink Kakadu or Cockatoo Flower Frog Figurine in Link Chain Pattern Float Bowl. This is an art deco large pretty pink float bowl. It features a pink Cockatoo or Kakadu figurine built into the flower frog. It is a good quality figurine and the float bowl is very heavy and was made in the Depression era 1920's and 1930's. The bowl is large, it is 14 inches. In diameter and it stands 3.5 inches or 9cm so it is fairly deep. It has a chain pattern around the rim of the bowl. There is a heavy foot in the bowl about 1 inch or 2.5cm deep and.

He figurine fits nicely into the foot of the bowl. There are no chips, cracks or repairs on the bowl.

Pink Cockatoo or Kakadu figurine made by Brockwitz Glass Company in Germany. The figurine is 8.5 inches or 21.5cm high.

The foot of the figurine is 3.5 inches or 9 cm across. The flower frog is 6 inches or 15cm in diameter.

There is one small chip near one of the flower holes in the frog area. There are a few flea bite flakes around the inside of the bottom where the figurine sits in the bowl. There are no cracks in the figurine which is pretty good for glass this old.

Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition. Cockatoo figurine chest protrudes out and you can see berries and ferns around its feet.

It's hard to get good photos of these bowls and I noticed some of the photos look like there is scratches on the bowl, especially if you zoom into the photos, but it is only some dust. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely Cockatoo Float Bowl to protect it, and make sure you get it in the same beautiful condition it is in now.
