PK Poschinger Krystallie Antique Burmese glass vase

Burmese glass vases dating to the end of the 19th century, circa 1890. Made by is PK Von Poschinger and signed on the bottom with a monogram mark that was used by the glassmaker during the last few decades of the 19th century. This wonderful Burmese cased glass vase features hand-painted with gold gilding branches with attached leaves and flowers with a top gold band on a background of cased pink glass in a matte finish - a medium shade of pink gradually down to a pale shade of cream at the base. Brilliant condition, just some minor wear to the gilding in some parts, but doesn't at all detract fro the beauty of this rare large piece, minor nibble to paint work on rim, no chips or cracks.
