Rare Brockwitz Art Deco Pink Glass'Parakeet' Bird Vase

A wonderful rare large and heavy (1.4 kilos unpacked) Art Deco pink glass'Parakeet' bird vase, see parakeets either side. Made by German company Brockwitz in the 1930's/40's, pattern number 6925, Designed by Freidrich Scheiner and is featured in their 1941 product catalogue. A stunning item and fabulous statement piece, which would make a great addition to any collection! Size approx Stands 7.4. Rim diameters 7" & 6.4".

Condition: The vase is used and 84 years old so has scratches and black marks the base has 1 small chip & 1 small fracture in the glass that does not go right through the glass and has not moved in the very many years I have owned and displayed it. Please note there is no flower frog insert.
