Sanyu Glass (Japan) Art Glass Vase in Blue and Pink Ombre Mid century art glass

This magnificent handblown Japanese art glass vase is by Sanyu, Japan. An amazing pink and blue ombre piece, very thick heavy glass weighing approx. The form is stunning, and has five controlled curves or arches around the perimeter. A very tactile piece in a beautiful colour palette of pink and blue. A wonderful and unique mid century art glass collector's piece for simple display or to be used as a statement vase.

In great vintage condition with some movement marks on base and 2 small chips to base as shown. 180mm (H) x 160mm (W) with 85mm diameter top opening.
