This mid-century Bohemian/Czechoslovakian glass vase, designed by Josef Hospodka for Chribská Glassworks (typically dated to the 1960s), features organic lines, dramatic color gradation, and heavy art glass construction. Form & Silhouette Sculptural Contour: A flared, lobed shape reminiscent of an opening flower bud or organic splash. Rim & Upper Section: A wide, lobed, undulating rim that splays outward, framed by thick clear glass borders along the pulled crests.

Body & Base: Features prominent vertical ribbing and deep lobed folds that widen through the lower midsection before tapering into a heavy, star-shaped clear glass base with smooth, flat polishing on the bottom. Coloring & Optical Effects Dual-Tone Gradient: Features a seamless, vibrant transition from a rich berry/cranberry pink at the neck down into a warm amber/honey yellow core through the lower body. Sommerso Technique: Colored glass core is fully encased in a thick, crystal-clear outer glass layer (sommerso technique), creating light distortion, weight, and depth around the pulled lobes. Condition & Visual Details Glass Clarity: Excellent clarity with high refractive shine; clear glass casing appears bright with no obvious clouding or heavy internal flaws.

Surface: Smooth, glossy finish highlighting the hand-pulled glass contours typical of Chribská production.
