1890's Victorian Stourbridge glass vase. Made in pink and creamy yellow Burmese glass, with hand painted floral "Berry & Leaf" pattern, by the British firm Thomas Webb & Sons. Has a marking to the base, but this is quite faded and difficult to make out (see picture). Small amounts of uranium in the glass cause it to glow bright green in UV light. Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase.
Small vases like this were often used to hold flower heads, or miniature "sweet pea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments. Measures approx 3.25 inches tall by 3inches in diameter at widest point.
