Presenting a magnificent Mid Century vintage Italian Murano art glass vase expertly hand crafted by a master Italian glass artist circa 1960s. This stunning vase is spectacularly coloured with a layer of vibrant peacock blue which smoothly graduates to a rich pink. The layers of colour magnificently radiate throughout the thick, chunky clear glass form, blending and combining to create a striking range of tones including gorgoeus shades of purple. The layers of colour become electrified with a magical intensity with light illuminating the glass.
The glass has been masterfully tooled to create thick, knobbly nodules of glass which add a dynamic sense of movement to the tapered form. The solid clear glass nodules act like a lens, magnificently magnifying and distorting the light to create stunning optical effects.
