Vintage Murano Vincenzo Nason glass sculpture sommerso glass birds on branch 7H

STUNNING COLOURS : vintage late 20th century Murano large 7 inch high heavy glass sculpture of two elegant amethyst pink and blue cased sommerso glass doves or love birds perched on a clear glass branch. I have done research online & the style of the birds is identical to those produced by Vincenzo Nason (see screenshot photos 3 & 4 showing a pink version signed'Nason Murano' on the clear glass base) hence attribution. Approximate dimensions: 17 cm tall 17 cm wide. A substantial solid glass (not hollow) piece of Murano glass sculpture: it weighs 1.1 Kg approx. Condition is immaculate-there is a small indent on the base which I think is likely from where the glass was clipped when it was hand blown and fashioned; there are movement marks to the base and there are a few minor surface scratches but nothing to spoil the display which is gorgeous.

At some point they traded under the name. Before the name was finally changed to. The company is believed to have closed sometime around 2001. Produced many sculptures of animals and birds.

I do not know the age of this but think it is vintage late 20th century 1990's given Nason ceased to trade in 2001. Would make a super gift for a collector.
